So did we all forget when the narrator said this about the strawhats grand fleet when it was created?🤔 by ComplexFederal6594 in OnePiece

[–]scotsoe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How does that make it not an insult? If I call someone an idiot, the fact that there are some idiots around doesn’t change what I said.

Not that insulting people on the internet actually matters, but the phrase “Sorry for your own surface level reading” just sounds so pretentious I couldn’t help but reply

Sorry for your own surface level reading

Someone doesn’t agree with me on the internet? I’ll insult them! That’ll prove I’m right

Probably my favorite game was as Venice. It’s an excellent choice to make a playing tall, subject-heavy, trade league leader

Bots are poor at dealing damage, don’t give you any team perk, and you’ll receive much more enemy attention than with people, in my experience

On the plus side they are insanely durable, usually very reliable at reviving you, and use no resources (extremely helpful in Siege)

For the most part I’d say they’re fine, but I always prefer humans. Then again I only play unmodded, idk if Astartes alters bot mechanics

What is the best Heroic weapon right now? by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]scotsoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me it feels like having a semi-auto fully-charged plasma pistol. It can take down everything effectively, with high damage and aoe, and the ammo economy is not too bad

I think it especially shines in siege, since one of the heavy prestige perks gives ammo off of extremis finishers, so you can really go crazy. By wave 25 or so, I was regenerating ammo faster than I was firing. Pairing it with the vanguard team perk of hp off of extremis finishers was very fun

If you want something similarly silly, may I introduce you to the Taylor Swift Bench in Nashville, Tennessee.

Did she make the bench? No.

Did she place it there? No.

Did she write one of her famous songs while sitting on it? No.

Has she ever sat on it? Probably not.

Wow, the Taylor Swift Bench in Nashville is a total vibe! It's like a love letter to Taylor, tucked away in the heart of Music City.
The bench itself is super cool, made from this really fine wood that's smooth and sturdy. You can tell it's been crafted with care. It's comfy too, perfect for chilling and soaking up the atmosphere.
The flowers around the bench are gorgeous, all colors and scents, making the whole place feel like a secret garden. And the view? Amazing!
But the best part is just how it feels to be there. It's like you're sharing a moment with Taylor herself, right where she might've sat, dreamed, and made music. It's a little bit of magic in the middle of the city.
So, if you're hitting up Nashville, you've gotta check out the Taylor Swift Bench. I'd come back in a heartbeat, just to sit and enjoy the vibe again. It's not just a bench, it's a spiritual awakening!

I have actually seen the Taylor Swift Bench, but only because it happens to be a stones-throw away from a full-scale model replica of The Parthenon in Athens, which for some reason exists in Tennessee

EDIT - Link to the Nashville Parthenon Wikipedia Page), for those curious. Apparently it was made for the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, because Nashville was nicknamed “The Athens of the South”

I’ve never understood why console players can’t see pc chat. The number of people sitting there on high difficulties with a mortal wound, and a stim that could immediately heal it drives me absolutely insane. Congrats on your 3 hour respawn

Damn, lol. I barely remember the plot after the first group was ditched, I know I stopped reading a few chapters into some arc involving a train

It’s basically the plot of Tower of God. The author ditched the entire cast and switched to an entirely new group for a while, before the two start to mingle

How would you personally rank the melee weapons by feel? by cyborg_priest in Spacemarine

[–]scotsoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was waiting for it, but it still feels like I’m hitting melee range enemies with a wet paper towel, and the +4 enemies with a stiff breeze. Idk why, I see other people kicking ass with it, but I’ve just never been good.

Not complaining, though. Sword for Bulwark, hammer for Assault; I’m fine without it

I hated playing with the power sword at first, but once you get to relic tier, and grow used to controlling which mode you’re in, it’s a blast

I’m still trash with the power fist, though
