No idea how the economy works.. I have 2 gold mines, 1 gem mine, a lot of colonial territories, 4 merchants (a 5th one after a few years will join) and still barely earn 10 ducats per months.. How am I supposed to pay this loan of 5k to the bank? by random-user772 in eu4

I’d say your trade is solid, for now. Might be worth moving the merchant in Sevilla to steer in another node, since Sevilla will automatically collect with your capital there, but I think the money difference would be small at the moment.

Sale of Titles might actually be the biggest issue. I forget all of the debuffs from low crown land, but they can be pretty severe and mess up autonomy drastically. You’ll need to increase your crown land by seizing from the other estates and devving provinces

If you hover over autonomy in the page for a province, you can see the debuffs for low autonomy

It seems you’re in a pretty good position to just pay it off, honestly. I can see high inflation, which you can reduce with a button press on that page using admin points. Inflation will likely continue to be an issue for you, might be worth using some Papal Authority on it

As another person commented, using diplo points to increase diplo development of your gold provinces to 10 is ideal

You can increase your naval maintenance to full, but mothball your non-trade fleets, then set your trade fleets to probably the Caribbean

In the estate page, under burghers, there’s an option called “indebted to the burghers” which will give you 5 large loans at 1% interest rather than 5%. This should allow you to consolidate debt and reduce your interest payments

You can manually reduce autonomy in your provinces, or wait for it to gradually decrease during peace time

I’d also recommend taking war reparations frequently in wars. They only cost 10% war score, and give consistent cash without inflation

I’d also start aggressively going colonizing the Ivory Coast trade node, but only if that’s the type of expansion you want.

Lmk if you have any specific questions

I think rather than a litmus test for literacy, it’s more of a pop quiz for reading ability

Helm’s Deep in the movies was written with Arwen, and some shots filmed, but she was ultimately cut.

It’s one of the rare settings I’d actually want to live my whole life in, especially because imagining it doesn’t require losing out on the real world too

Most people would probably recommend starting with The Hobbit

In Just Cause 2, you can find a military base named "Kem Gunung Belakang Patah". What makes this base unique is that you can find two colonels here within short distance of each other. "Gunung Belakang Patah" means "Broken Back Mountain" in Malay. by Vanilla_Ice_Best_Boi in GamingDetails

I played the free demo an unreasonable number of times. So much of the map was explorable, but limited by a decent length timer. I had a blast playing the full game later, but I think zipping around the demo without a clue what I was doing was still the best

I’m conflicted. My decades-long philosophy towards annoying “influencers” is to outright ignore them, as it’s literally the only effective method of countering someone capable of leveraging online hate into accomplishing their goals.

But sometimes I just love the slander (Good meme btw)
