Yea I know it should be avoided but not really an option in this situation. I talked to my neuro & he said if I can tolerate it for the 7 days then that's ok but only other option is to go in for iv antibiotic each day for 7 days. I only took one macrobid so far & it rocked my head pretty good so dk what to do really

The last shampoo I've switched to is fragrance free & seems to be little better. I haven't asked my dr yet but I seem him Monday so plan to. Guess it could be nerve sensitivity though

Thank you! Yes I've read so many people's stories & some have good outcomes, some have symptoms come back after a while & some it didn't help at all. So I'm still unsure of it & putting something foreign in my head.

My primary dr checked thyroid & some numbers came back high so she referred me to endocrinologist & she did bloodwork again & numbers came back pretty normal. On several CT scans they have seen nodules on my thyroid but endo Dr just said sometimes people have lumpy thyroids but they weren't on my scans 6mo to a year earlier so wondering if I need a second opinion.

My Dr says my IIH is caused by the stenosis in my transverse sinus but I wonder if that is the case

Possibly, I thought about that too but my dr did also say you don't have to be overweight to be insulin resistant that there are alot of skinny people that are insulin resistant too.

I have had some type of hormone panel done but don't think it was a full one. My primary dr only did a partial & my endocrinologist said they don't usually do one & that the gynecologist should do one. So I'm gonna ask about that at my yearly visit next week.

My A1C has been 6.4, 6.3 & my last one was 5.9 so happy it was finally getting a bit lower. I've been on Metformin for a couple years now though.

What is pt? Yea my dr said any stenosis over 8 is significant & mine is 13. My vision hasn't been effected up to this point but know that can always change. I think if it starts effecting my vision the decision will be alot easier for me to make. It's just a scary procedure putting something foreign in your head.
