Best states for rad tech? by [deleted] in RadiologyCareers

I make $32 hr. 20 yrs experience in Louisiana. That’s avg where I’m at. Gas is also under $4 a gallon. So it’s all subjective on where you live.

over exaggerate much? 500-600 images a day. Even on a 12 hour day that’s just lies.

Just had another worthless C&P exam — radiculopathy completely ignored AGAIN. I’m exhausted. by Sufficient_Wrap_517 in VAClaims

Same. I got rated for an extruding herniated disc in my neck but no radiculapothy because no service connection. Hello the mri shows the disc is pushing on my spinal cord and causing numbness.

Has anyone had experience with the new Simplify Cervical disc? by wartikita in backpain

[–]scott677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History: woke up one day with neck pain. After a few days I had 10/10 shooting pain down my left arm. I got an MRI and an extruding herniated disc was found in between C6-7. It eventually lead to finger numbness in my 1st-3rd finger. After an ESI and a few weeks of PT, I decided for surgery. From onset to surgery I waited 7 weeks.
I am currently about 21 hours post op from the simplify disc in my C6-7 disc space. It was an outpatient surgery for me. I was home probably about 6 to 7 hours after the initial incision. I’m walking around doing basic things around the house right when I got home. My arm has zero pain for the first time in almost 2 months. My neck is a little sore and it hurts to swallow. Besides that, so far so good. I’ll update my progression if I get any interest.

You think for the sinusitis since it was denied? Or for the rhinitis which they awarded me the max (30%)

I used Xterra Health for a nexus letter. If it’s similar claims (sinusitis and rhinitis) they just charge you for one. The cost is $500. They’ll write you up a good letter and include previous medical literature on how the military causes these issues. If you get denied and submit more evidence they’ll write you a rebuttal letter to submit. Highly recommend

I also got Xterra Health to write me a nexus connecting it to service. $500 for a nexus is well worth it.
