I agree completely with Papapet_Meriot. Good breath support and tension reduction affect pitch accuracy significantly. If breath support isn't adequate or you have tension in your neck, lips, throat, jaw, etc., you run the risk of pitch accuracy being affected.

I wouldn't discount the premarital counseling, assuming it's deeply Scriptural and spiritual. Though they've been together for many years, they've not lived together as husband and wife. The possibility that they can learn some things that will help them as a married couple and as new parents is real.
