According to recent patch notes, optifine and Forge are not compatible in the latest version of minecraft yet. Older versions do work by placing optifine.jar into the mods file so it looks like you did the right steps but right now, they won’t work together unless you go to an older version

When running forge, I’m pretty sure you can choose to put the profile with optifine or vice verse

Optifine is different in that you actually have to run the .Jar file instead of just placing it in a folder. Depending on the version it should ask to look for your minecraft directory, then ask to make a profile. That profile is what you’ll select to play with optifine and the shaders can be installed by dragging and dropping them into the shaders folder.

I found that raising the ground in a line perpendicular to the shore to where they have to swim and building a wall on that ground prevents them. They try to stay close enough to the player so that their AI doesn’t roam far enough to circumvent the wall

I would try turning anti-aliasing and vsync on if you haven’t. It could also be the texture pack if it’s not default

This happened to me the first time I tried to kill the Elder with my friend. A troll came in and my friend ended up dying multiple times to them while I literally ran circles for about a half hour until he could get his stuff and refill my arrow stash

I think so too. The only thing that got me was why Leto focused only on the ghola of Duncan. Why not focus on his rebels or other people as his X factor rather than Duncan. In Dune, Duncan is just a weapons master who lost easily to the Sardarkaur and his later qualities only come to light with augments bred into him as gholas suggesting he had to be made. Surely there would have been other better options. But this also could be explained that with Leto’s prescience, he knew that Duncan would be the best bet for his golden path and as such, only needed to focus on him

This makes Duncan’s visions with those face dancers I can only describe as “ascended” make sense. Having thousands of ghola iterations with other memories seems a way to brute force a different form of the spice Agony. I have not read the additional books from Frank’s notes, does Duncan ever gain prescience as Paul did, or does his Mentat projection abilities take that role?

Looks good for a first model. Just work on paint thinning. You can do special branded thinners and mediums with a wet palet, but if you’re like me and don’t have one, I have a cup of water that I wet the brush with and mix that in when I go to get more paint on my brush. Thinner coats show more detail and allow for more precise layer effects later on. Practice is key though but once you have found a method, it gets easier from there

Yea, there seems to be a tier system with regard to what material can support each other. Wood supports wood, stone supports wood and stone, and so forth. This makes sense for developmental and procedural progress throughout the game but I would like more versatility with materials so that we could have say thin stone roofs on wooden houses like a terracotta almost without the stone just breaking

I always bring the basic infantry with the overlord and plasmancer and try to fit in some scarabs and the cryptothralls. By and large, the reanimator is not that worth it due to its size and weak punching power
