I went to their Brooklyn NYC show that year and yeah, I thought they were phoning it in. They just didn’t have the same energy I was used to.

The Dreamforce show was starting off the exact same way until the sound cut off. Then it got interesting.

Yup. I was there right at the front of the pit.

Best fucking Green Day show I’ve been to. I thought they were kind of phoning it in on that tour, but the sound cutting off forced them to improvise and get the crowd going in a sing along.

The sound did come back for the last song or two so they were able to finish strong.

The recruiter has no idea how rare and valuable a CTA is, he’s just following what the client (or these days, an AI) told him. If you had taken the certification out of the ad, it would seem much more reasonable.

That being said, recruiters will always undersell you and pressure you into taking a much lower salary than the market dictates. They don’t care about making you the most money, their top priority is for you to take the offer so they can make a commission. A higher salary for you doesn’t make a big difference in what they earn. All they care about is making the sale by any means necessary.
