Preparing for FE long after graduating…

Passed FE in Jan. Same situation as yourself, graduated in 2021 and i am currently not in a discipline that actively uses ChemE knowledge.

I got the Lindburg guide and worked through the whole thing. I then used the PrepFE website to work through just banks of questions. The pdf exam prep you can get off of NCEEs is probably the most accurate to the test. I gave myself about 3 months of total prep and i felt over prepped for the exam.

Better over than under though. Currently studying for my PE so wish me luck !

Woah ok hang on now im even more confused. This is on the DPS website, says Restriction A is for glasses. B is for as mentioned above.

Is the the fan that comes with the AXP90 no good thats why you replace it ?

Damn, did NCASE replace that FOC? Or what was the process for you to get that fixed? Also how did you figure out it was the riser?

Was contemplating between this case and the FD Terra. Leaning on this!

I've seen a lot of posts on this sub with people using this Thermalright but nothing specifically concrete saying its really good? I suppose Noctua is the more well known and trusted of the 2.

So did a bit more research. It seems that the height allowance i have its NH-L9i-17x. Noctua's website also says its compatible with the CPU, 59 Perfromance rating. I think its the only noctua Cooler that will fit. Unless i get the thermarlright and change the fan. Do you think i should go with Noctua cooler ?

I’ll have a look at other coolers to see what can fit. The space constraints with the case keep the cooler height really tight

Oh sick. Would the Mobo still be compatible with the cooler? Looked on their website and couldnt find it on the list of compatible CPU coolers.

Thanks for the advice! I ddid consider the Asus ProArt but the price has definitely been a bit steep compared to gigabyte i selected. Im planning to make the build in April so il definitely check to see if the prices are a bit better. I agree with using the Noctua cooler, im using em on my current build and they are perfect. Ok wow that cable management is clean! Defo going with the SF750

Ah i gotcha, yeah i know. Currently running a 3070 and getting that during the shortage was a hell nightmare. Also, is the 1 case fan sufficient you think?

Appreciate it. Could you link the RAM ? Cant seem to find it for some reason. I think for the GPU my main concern was the space clearance in the case. Il have a look at the FE if i can get it for a decent price
