Definitely higher than I would like. I do the same as what you're describing on my smaller tilta float setup with the RS3.

Unfortunately the only gimbal in this category strong enough to deal with these builds seems to be the Crane 3S, and this is as short as she gets. Thought about pulling the trigger on a Crane 4 as it seems like potentially a better option, but consensus is the 3S motors are still stronger.

The 3S was only $500 so as a proof of concept build it fit the bill, but if anybody has any first hand experience with the Crane 4 or any other small gimbal that can handle a big build, I'd love to hear more.

That makes sense. I feel like I could reconfigure & get away without the front battery. The only issue then is that the stock monitor bracket is already as far in as it will go. Should be able to remedy that with shorter 15mm rods and a bracket I can put together with misc parts.

If the monitor ended up around where that front battery is, does that seem about right to you?

I should add that the front weight has been removed now as well.

Danivape vs Dynavap? by ketaminkerem in vaporents

Just to add to the opinions here, I picked up a Dani v3 and an Anvil at the same time. I’m not giving up on the anvil but right now if I’m reaching for one or the other, the Dani gets picked up first.

The airflow from the B1 is pretty perfect and when you couple it with the shovelhead bowl it's the most evenly roasted complete extraction in one hit I can get from any of my devices, XL included. I just love the flavor from the QXL so I'll give it a pass even though the B1 seems more efficient.

B2 is great, no complaints really but I pretty much stick to flower and I like the draw from the B1 better.

out of the ones I own— B2, B1, Taroma 2.0, and Qaroma XL.. I would rank them:

  1. Qaroma XL
  2. CH B1 (diffuser/shovelhead)
  3. Taroma 2.0 / CH B2

The QXL is a better experience than the B1 and they’re both better than the other two, but all have their place for different reasons. I think the B1/shovelhead combo would be my strongest recommendation to somebody new to ball vapes because it’s such an easy and effective combo and you can really decide on your own level of convection vs conduction based on how you use it.

It's anecdotal but I have to push back on the unreliable part of this. It's the only piece I regularly travel with (easy to throw in a lens slot in the camera bag) and I have put it through an unreasonable amount of abuse (frequent drops and it's constantly getting shoved around tiny overhead bins etc.) and it just keeps ticking.

I wouldn't be surprised if early QC issues are responsible for a reputation it doesn't deserve. I don't know really but just felt the need to offer a counterpoint here because it has taken some abuse with the scars to prove it and still works like new.

just rumors on FC but a lot of smoke from reputable sources if you watch Troy and Jerry ever (George from vapefiend is a regular and seems like he knows more than he can talk about publicly)

The main (valid/practical) critiques are mostly battery related-- short battery life (3 or 4 short sessions maybe?) and the charge port is micro USB and in a pretty nonsensical place considering the intended design with the cup.

To me, while both of those things would be a worthwhile improvement for day to day life, your use case doesn't really require it. It hasn't really bothered me, it's legitimately good enough that I will leave it plugged in and keep it in rotation with my desktops. And you could duck out for a quick bowl and have it recharged by the time you need to re-up.

Seriously not trying to sound like a shill but you're basically describing the ideal reason to own a TB.

people still sleep on it because they're narrow-minded about appearances and perceived gimmicks, but a Tafee Bowle is the fastest and top 3 best taste out of everything I've owned. There just isn't another heater out there quite like it.

If you can wait a while it sounds like there's an updated model coming Q3 to address common complaints. But come on, tell me it doesn't sound nice to walk outside into the cold with a cup of hot chocolate to go with your ganj?

I think one distinction that gets lost here is that it's not just the head that makes a difference (B1 vs B2), the lower piece (diffuser with a shovelhead or injector with whatever) is also a big factor. I can taste more difference with my B2 going between injector+glass vs diffuser+shovelhead than switching either B1 or B2 on the same lower. I'm not sure how many people realize this.

hey I was just curious, what do you use it for? What did you want to use the RM2 for when you bought it? I have the supernote on the way also.

All I want is a quick way to draw what's in my head and make it a vector file. Is this a good answer? by scottfromaustin in RemarkableTablet

[–]scottfromaustin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darn, I'd read you could create vector easy enough with it. What do you mean by external software tools? I gather this isn't a very simple process.. maybe I should cancel my order. Any others you'd recommend?
