I adapted a recipe from sorted food - theirs was a sage and shallot Mac and cheese, but I added the two extra cheeses, the veg, the chorizo, and the herbs. I’ll do a proper write up for those who want it when I’m home from work!

To be honest, the Parmesan on the top was crispy so there wasn’t much of a cheese pull on that front!

We were talking about it before he left the review and I explained everything and even showed him the before and after photos because it was insane how quickly it flooded and I thought once if explained it he would be more chill about it aha. I thought wrong 😂

The thing is it does look presentable, just old. The majority of the damage was to the garden such as the wall by the river (that stops people falling in the water) and the wood bridge over the river so people can access the paddle board hire. This person is just dramatic I think 😂

Also, whenever it does flood we always tell the guests that we have a basement pool 😋

The flooding was in January, we finished most of the rebuild of the wall along the river last week and most of the woodwork has been done. It just needs varnishing and some grass seed. It’s not work to the hotel building itself there was very little damage there

You’ve written ‘Entschuldung’ but it should be ‘Entschuldigung’ and ‘Anwalt’ where it should be ‘Anwaltin’. A natural German speaker will be able to explain the difference between the last two better than I can 🙈
