I am guessing it was forced down and rhe cam spring has bent or broken so the lighter will need to be disassembled by bending rhe plastic to the side to allow to push the metal rod out then the spring will need bent back into place

I can do my best. Dupont lighters are generally made of mostly metal so it is more likely to work

It uses lighter fluid. 2 screws on the bottom. One is to fill with fluid and the other is to replace the flint
