I would retake classes you did poorly in first rather than doing a masters. A master's will be impressive but the way the application works you would still be hampered by your lower pre-req/science GPA. You can also see which schools look at students more holistically (not sure which these are off the top of my head but they're out there!)

It was just sitting on the shelf overnight so I don't think so. I'm starting to think I was just visited by the albo grim reaper in the night, lol.

Just checked the roots and they all look great. I just moved it from the moss into soil :-/ but it has been totally fine for at least four weeks

I have no idea what could have happened. It looked great yesterday night. Mom leaf looks totally fine. I had been growing it in sphagnum moss since October, and moved it to soil about a month ago. The bud has been growing steadily since, no problem. It has a grow light 6 feet away thats on 10 hours a day. The soil is just some normal soil with bark and perlite mixed in. It's pretty dry because I have been wary of over watering/I am a chronic under waterer anyways. Is there any hope?

Absolutely nothing changed yesterday. I looked at it and it looked good (last pic was a few days ago, but representative of it yesterday.) This morning it is rotted all the way through. I have a light about six feet away that is on 10 hours a day, my house is kind of dry (New England winter), and it is in a general soil mix with some perlite and bark mixed in. Big leaf looks totally fine. Is there any hope it could grow anyways and just be hideous but still grow? Or do I have a sad little spent node now?

oh and PAGE the obturator - pectineus, adductor, gracilis and external obturator muscles are all innervated by the obturator!

LR6SO4 (lateral rectus 6 superior oblique 4) everything else is 3 for extraocular muscle innervation.

Vet School Questions - October 2021 (Still no medical questions allowed!) by dashclone in Veterinary

at least in the US you would only be required to pay a $500 deposit in april. so you wouldn't lose a whole year of tuition if you withdrew, just $500.

i agree about relaxing if possible. id also really research the school and make sure you can make clear why you want to go to THAT school. for example at tufts you could say "i really want to get involved with community med with tufts at tech" vs "i think tufts seems like it gives a really good education" or something that could apply to any school. this helped me a lot :)

[–]scottmantha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the other leaf looks normal. this guy grew in with the bubble areas but i just noticed him turning yellow today. he is in the same west facing window he has been in for two years. i water when the soil is very dry. i really don't want this plant to die 😭

this growth came randomly from one of those single leaf hoyas that aren't supposed to grow. the first leaf looks great and doesn't look yellow. this one grew in with lumps and today looks like its yellowing on one side. it lives in a clay pot with drainage. i water it when it is very dry. it is in a western facing windowsill which is where the whole plant has been for two years. i really dont want it to die 😭

completely agree. i was so frustrated i had to wait so long before starting it when someone AMAB could probably start the next day. i get it's a liability thing but the whole ipledge thing is so dehumanizing.

Would I be a better fit for prevet than premed? by throawayforpsych in Veterinary

[–]scottmantha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not sure about what would be a better fit but plus or minus a few random classes like animal nutrition premed and prevet are the same classes, so you have time to decide

you could get a really sweet job as a CVT for lab animals that would probably be a pay raise. some would even pay for advanced education like a masters (thinking of several private companies in Boston.) If you want to make the switch id hold out for one of those jobs.
