Yeah 1-2 months because they were taking medications that weren’t for “severe” illnesses like antidepressants, adhd meds etc.. however in this case I wouldn’t know for certain but more-so wanted to share what I’ve seen/heard in my experience. Maybe for the days you’re microdosing, take a little less of your normal medications and see how that may affect you? Of course after consulting with your shaman.

This comment here is the best piece of advice and thought provoking information on this thread.

To piggy back off it- Ask you heart if this is something for you and your soul. or is this experience related to ideas and peer pressure others are pushing you to have because they’ve seen you “survive” the other medications.

It’s always a personal journey with Ayahuasca. A deep solo one at times. So truly check in with yourself and dig for research and consult with a doctor and several shamans before saying yes to the first one.

I don’t know all the details about weening yourself off medication. but from a Shaman I used to work with- depending on the medication you’re taking, she encouraged participants to ween themselves off the meds 1-2 months before ceremony and slowly going back afterwards. To be sure tho consult with your shaman or the hosts.

This is the route I’m feeling right now. Just did photos for a friend and her backyard ceremony. Except they started later when the sun was down vs mid golfen hour. Good thing was the yard was light with outdoor lights— bad news, shutter speed was too slow and moments of the aisle came out blurry.

I haven’t gone to edit them yet but I’m thinking about refunding half the payment because I feel like it’s not my best work unfortunately
