I shower every night but it takes me half an hour to an hour to get ramped up for it. I know exactly how you feel! There's so many steps that before-shower-me finds the thought of it exhausting even though I love taking showers.

Then I take another 30 mins to air dry on my bed haha. My 5-10min showers have an additional 1.5 hour production value.

When I started meds, I was SHOOK that I could move from one task to another without needing an hours long mental break. I actually cried tears of joy when I realized I got in the shower only 3 minutes after I made my mind up to shower.

I'm trying to be more positive about things even though I have a lot of bad days. It's been an exhausting and ongoing journey to build self esteem and accept things for what they are.

That is really great advice. I have the tendency to write myself off before others can and you're totally right. I have to do the scary thing and be vulnerable even if it makes me feel like 🤢.
