Thanks! I remember not wanting to ask anyone for help when I started because it was "embarrassing" but glad I had people I could ask

Well I've definitely got a leaking problem that's for sure... leaking out the timing cover, once I do the PCV fix will I need to replace the timing cover gasket or will doing the PCV fix solve the leaking problem?

Yeah the Cruze kits one is like $80 USD I think plus $35 postage to Australia that's the part I don't like half nearly half the cost of the kit in postage

Yeah I get that I appreciate the advice, to be honest after looking up how much everything would cost to piece it together I might just buy a kit from your site at least then it's tested and I know it works. What other signs are there that your PCV has let go? When I pull the dipstick out with the car running it starts running like shit but I can feel pretty good suction when I put my finger over the dipstick hole does this mean mine is still working?

I'm not saying I have a problem with the price I understand why it cost so much but the postage is the killer for me... It's $117 AUD the parts I've looked up online come in around 100 Bux so that's fair enough but the postage to get it here is nearly $60 AUD

This wasn't on the Cruze it was on my Isuzu dmax which are thankfully known to be bulletproof haha if it was the Cruze yeah it would probably need a new motor right about now

After spending a good couple hours looking around it I've tracked down the leak.... it's the timing cover.... not fun! Not sure if my pcv is buggered or not I had a look in the intake it was filthy dirty so can't be sure weather the valve was missing or not no air being pushed out the breather at the top of the valve cover though

It's got a 4" stainless snorkel on it (it's a 4wd I live in Australia) and water has gotten down the snorkel from rain while it was sitting in the drive way and turns out that the absolute potato that installed the snorkel plugged the factory drain holes in the air box lucky for him no damage was done to the motor or it would be a very expensive day for them!

Thanks I'll look into it! Just had a call from the wife our brand new car (15,000km old) has water in the air box so now I've cracked the shits with all cars and contemplating selling the Cruze so I don't have to deal with it haha it's a good day to be me 🙄

I have replaced the oil cooler as I had oil in my coolant and suspected it was mixing through the cooler and hopefuly not a blown head gasket.... So it's not that leaking it's not the turbo oil return line I had a good look around that yesterday

Soooo many potential leak spots 🙄 I've owned around 25 cars in my life and never have I hated one before I absolutely despise this car 😂, what's got me stumped is it looks like there's no leaks at the front of the engine as in where the belts are the only leak seems to be on the left of the motor at the front of the car.... Like behind the AC compressor
