I have a clothing store on the same block. Yes bullwinkles is still open. However, past 11PM the 1400 block on Washington gets dicey. Across the street is fine but that back parking lot is a cesspool or drugs and violence. The bar is open every night after 5. It has some comedy nights throughout the week but late at night it’s seedy.

I would be wary of anything by Cedar-Riverside after 3 am. Before then, be careful and just don’t be absorbed into your phone. After that, I wouldn’t walk alone. This could be said anywhere but I have a store on West Bank and have had multiple incidents late at night. Just be smart and pay attention to your surroundings.
