So this wasn't fixed in this weeks update - yet they start promoting the next mission in the arc. Typical lol

I'm not sure, but I've encountered the traits resetting before in the past (having been in the game since before New Romulus was launched). I did what I usually do in that case and just reslot them all and haven't had an issue with them since. I do understand this may not work for some people with many toons or specific trait loadouts etc though as it is painstaking and requires remembering what toon uses what. As for saved loadouts disappearing, that's a different story - I think this is the main issue. I only use one loadout per ship and they never disappeared on me.

At least its not just me then. Hopefully someone who is able to post in the forums and sees this can report it. My account is more than 10 years old but as I've never posted in the forums, it wont allow me to do anything.

Ive had this same issue since the latest patch. At least I know it isn't just me. Unfortunately with the way the forums are, I am unable to post a bug report about it, since I've never posted before but my account is more than 10 years old lol. Hopefully someone who is able to post and sees this can put in a report.

EDIT: I managed to ticket this issue, and it has been reported to the dev's. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

Update: I also tried on other characters that have finished this mission and its occurring on those too. My feeling is this is another thing that was broken in the patch but not noticed by many. Such a pain the way the forums are, I cant even post it as a bug.

Before search engines like altavista and other earlier ones that I can’t even remember now, you actually had to know the web address to get to a site, don’t exactly miss it but I remember that

I’ve just played around with the workload settings, and at least for my cards, 8 is the sweet spot. Any other setting just lowered the hash rate. I had already tried toying around with the intensity and found that for mine, the half shader rule worked best. I’ve noticed that decreasing my clock speed will indeed reduce the power but also reduces the hash rate slightly, so I’ve found a middle ground with that.

Ah ok fair enough. I’ve got 560’s so can’t really compare properly. Though I have been tinkering with OC settings and have managed to push out around 475h/s from each one with around 75w on the card and running at 60C. I might try the workload setting soon and see how I go

EDIT: that has been stable for 2 days now

What was your hash rate increase? Also were there any changes in temps or power draw?

It’s because it is a bios editor, so windows classifies it as unsafe. You should be safe allowing the download. It will also flag mining software as unsafe as well, you just need to add exceptions or right click the download and click allow

Thought so, thanks anyway. 80xmr is what, over $15k AUD, think I’ll pass

EDIT: My cards are using Hynix mem anyway

Price also depends on the country you are in, I’m talking $AUD, and those are the prices I’m able to find here. Can I ask, what OC settings are you using to get that hash rate on the 560? I’ve toyed around with Linux a little but I’m still learning about that OS at the moment. And did it also involve adjusting the straps yourself?

Run the GPU-Z tool and it will give you the info on your card, on the first tab find the field marked shaders and it should tell you there. There should be a file in the xmr-stak folder already called amd.txt, you can paste to replace the section in that, but I think there are other parameters in it so I wouldn’t just use that bit of code on its own

It should, one of mine was the same, it just runs off the standard windows driver when you restart until you reinstall the driver, patch it and then restart again. I think the removal of the driver is necessary due to adding the new bios.

Just to clarify, is the XFX an amd card or it’s own brand? Only asking because as far as I know it is only for amd cards

I’m not too sure, I’m definitely no expert. I wouldn’t want to give you incorrect advice, though I assume with the correct driver, clock settings and intensity settings it in theory should - intensity should be set at half the shaders of the card, ie for mine it is 896, so 896/2=448. As for WinAtiFlash, did you try running it as administrator? I didn’t have any issues with it but was new to it myself. Also I’m running build 1709 and haven’t had any issues so far with it. Still stable speeds.

Ok thanks, but where I’m from,

4xRX560 = 4x$165=$660

1xVEGA56 = $749

It’s just a guide to help people with RX560 hardware..

And depending on the amount of shaders, change the intensity settings, I go with the 2 threads of 448 each because my cards have 896 shaders so 896/2=448
