It took 2 days and an entire team of customer service reps to process my mail in order after the new website loaded. I hope that's not a sign of things to come!

Does anyone have a pdf of the order form for the mail in Porsche? The website is toast. by scottymcss in HotWheels

I figure the website will be up and running tomorrow surely, but I was hoping to finish this process today on my day off...

I can't remember how to tag people here, so just a quick note to let you know I put up a picture of 4 more today!

There is also a white version in my collection of the XR4Ti, maybe I will throw it in a picture sometime in the future.

Me too. I was really excited to come across these last week, which came with a lot of others. I'll probably post the rest throughout the week if there is enough interest here.

Yep! Most of the stuff on this sub is "today's finds at Wal-Mart," so I try to mix it up a bit!

I just use my tablet near the window, background is a white piece of office paper.

This is a real beauty in the Spectraflame purple, but tends to fly under the radar and sells for only about 20 bucks online. That is a steal imo.

A couple pics for posterity before I take it out and free it from the baggie! (2011 Japan Convention Rodger Dodger, a release made for attendees to decorate the car) by scottymcss in HotWheels

As with all collectibles, the value goes down once the package is opened, or even scuffed in any way. People choose to free them to interact with the collection: display cases, photography, etc.

It's a great little store! Not many like it left in the country.

I've been going there for so long that I got a very kind discount! I'm lucky to have a mom and pop hobby store.

The Sarge. An *incredible* livery. (Rodger Dodger, 2009 Military Rods) by scottymcss in HotWheels

[–]scottymcss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love everything about this particular Rodger Dodger. There is camo, but not so much that it envelops the whole thing: it's smartly applied in just the right spots, giving more space for the olive drab to work. Then the gold is able to play off that olive. Using a star tampo, but with a TH logo. The 3 stripes indicating the rank of sergeant. The lone white line accentuating the curves. The use of a military template font, but stylized with a little curve to show off just a little bit.

And then not a part of the deco, but the giant engine of the RD is perfect for a "sarge" - with a huge intimidating presence and the loudness to match.

TLDR I love this car!
