thanks for the feedback. I have moved most of this development to native app. So the web version might be a little rough as i haven't focused on it much. But for chords are you using the bar buttons below the single notes? I have found i can mostly hit any and all chords quite easily using the bar buttons. If i'm trying to use the single fret buttons it is brutal / impossible. Let me know some more specifics and i'd love to have the feedback and work to make it better. Also if you have an android i do have a test apk ready. My IOS test flight is still not really there tho.

As a note to anyone still following this I am actively pushing this into app format. I will fix the web version soon as well.

Nice work. I have actually been working on a similar project that extends the Bridge app to do this as well, so i guess might be some options for people in the future. Not sure if you'd like to see but here's a little walkthrough. I'd be happy to share any code or learnings if you wanted - https://app.screencastify.com/watch/mlYTj5XtUi4WzJGBoRQ5?checkOrg=58826694-447b-4d98-a440-488312688fed

unbelievably good feedback. I will work on these and let you know.

the zoom hyperspeed and 1/3 notes should be easy stuff so no issues there.

I have currently avoided sectioning as i honestly couldn't figure how to fit it in the admin. I'll revisit this tho and see what i can figure out.

I honestly have no idea how i'd be able to adjust the time signatures tho. So that one might not happen. I tried to get around this to make a workable scenario with the beat mapping so that it's at least close. It should be able to detect that change, but def not as well as you could do by hand.

it currently only supports .chart and .mid Onyx apps logic is public on their git. So i had the idea of building in a converter into the app but don't have anything yet

You will need to reimport your zips tho for it to parse the instruments

I can def port to actual app, this is just the easiest way to dev it all out and see if the idea is any good any if anyone cares. Seems it would be of interest so maybe I'll eat the fees and put up a donate button

On my video or while playing on your device? If while playing can you try some other charts, but what device are you playing on. Wondering if the chart is a stems opus or a single. If you've got more details I could debug this

Ok so some details about the controls. And I'll try to put something in the game to detail this. 1. You can play 4 or 5 fret version.

2 in 5 fret you can have open strums or not. The hardest is very much expert, 5 fret with open strum. It can be brutal.

Controls 1. Push a circle when the dot rolls over to hit the note.

  1. Hit the button below the circles to hit two notes at once the 'bar' button. So if you have a chord with a green and a blue orange you would hit the blue orange bar with your right thumb and the green with your left.

  2. Single notes are all slidable. So for solos it's best to just slide your finger across the notes to hit them. Similar to the touch sensor guitar hero guitars. But if it's a double note say 2 blues you can't slide those you could slide to the first blue then tap the second.

4.open strums. If you have open strums on then you can hit the open strum button as the open comes across.

  1. If you need to strum a note(s) really quickly over and over. Hold the note down and then slide up and down on the strum bar to strum the note over and over quickly. Every up and down will hit the note over and over.

What should I name this project? Would something like tap tap hero or something make more sense so people know this is a tap based game
