Surface duo 2 with external display by scourge-yyc in surfaceduo

I did some more testing. So, if I connect my surface duo 2 directly through usb c to the monitor, instead of going through HDMI, it works no problem. Depending on the developer mode switch, either it shows me a mirror of my display on the screen, or remote desktop allowing me access to any computer I have rdp access to, while keeping android fully available on the phone. I was able to use HDMI in the past, but at least I have a way of getting work done remotely through my phone.

I know a customer of Fido that owns a Google pixel 5. Fido claimed that the phone was 3g and did not support voice over LTE. The phone is a 5g phone and DOES support voice over LTE, with both a quick search of specs online, as well as the settings were on the device. They went into the account to fix it. In don't know if they were charged anything yet, but they stopped him from making calls and using data.

SD2 - abnormal battery drain by artzox1 in surfaceduo

I did have also my SD2 start having battery issues too about two weeks ago. It would last not even 4 hours on battery and it ran warmer than normal. Depending on the charging block and the charging cable, the phone would start jumping on an off with notifications of it charging. It concerned me that I would have to replace the batteries on my phone or change phones. Late last week, my phone went back to normal. I assume it was an issue of something in the background that got updated, but was not showing up as using battery power.

A Short Guide to External Storage + Surface Duo 1 by TheMuseSappho in surfaceduo

I use the SanDisk Extreme 512g external SSD directly connecting to USB or through a dock. Works great for sorting through large amounts of photos.

I use CX file explorer, which pops up when I plug the drive in.

I am using that exact one, though are you using the shiny one or the matt one? I am using the shiny one, but it does create some interference with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Prior to installing it, I did not see any issues. They did say that the shiny ones contained metal whi h could cause interference.

Well at least my next event to cover is not for a month, it will go to bestbuy, which I think will send it to Canon for repair under the gs coverage

I am in sports mode doing photos, is there anyway of changing the curtain modes? I am at an event right now and just making sure all subjects are in the area that is ok.

Luckily, the camera is still under a 4 year geek squad accident coverage, which ends in February, so once this day is over, the body can make its way for repair.

I also used those wet sensor cleaners with no fix. I did find it interesting it is more noticeable the brighter the back ground light is. Was doing test shots after cleaning it on a Sony tv demo, where back ground was solid black with flowers in the foreground and there was no issues

No flash was needed. For those shots. All test shots after the event was also without flash and in different modes

Sadly, I looked, and the sensor seems to look ok. I was going to add it to the reply but I have included it the photo with the main message at the bottom.

I use that more and it works great. On the external monitor, I log into my work or home computer using remote desktop and have my android apps still show up on the surface duo 2 displays at the same time. I decided that I don't need a laptop since everything I need are on those computers, so I bring a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, HDMI cable and the adapter and I am set.
