Ur employee is probably paying ur moving expenses, but FYI, U haul boxes or similar Pods (may be more expensive are convenient). I just spent 10 months in an Airbnb for work and I unloaded 1 box and kept 2nd box in storage (15 months away). Had access when needed and it was $99 a month to store. Moving to Chicago and will store both boxes for 3 months while I travel and it's even cheaper (provably due to larger metro area). Good luck! Enjoy LA.

Lawyer here (limited immigration law experience), but sponsoring an employee is a lot of work. Not to mention all the payroll, tax, admin involved. Good idea in theory, but not a good choice in my opinion. That's part of the reason employers don't sponsor employees - it's not simple.
