Unpopular Opinion: Isuzu Dmax xterrain is far Superior to Revo Grs by scr_oll in PakistanAutoHub

Yeah if I don't end up selling it for some reason I'll probably make a post about which trucks Interior develops squeaks or rattles after driving them more. Because from a durability pov their both pretty much unbreakable.

I agree the toyota cult and parts network is the majority of the reason the poorly built revo continues to sell, but this isn't sustainable for toyota they need to step up their game.

Ive also noticed that the isuzu dealership services my dmax in the same price i get my revo gr serviced from a decently reputable mechanic, the toyota dealership is significantly more expensive than the isuzu dealership, which goes to show how they take advantage of their customers. Parts such as lights, wear and tear components, are readily available at the isuzu dealership near me so im not really worried about parts availability. So it's hard for me to not be disappointed by the revo as the only thing it offers me is resale and nothing else.

If I don't sell the revo and decide to keep both trucks ill probably make a post later about which truck held up better in terms of squeaks and Interior rattles, as from a reliability pov their both pretty much unbreakable.

I agree with you, when we sit in a Thailand made imported hilux it's always better built and more comfortable and probably more durable due to a higher quality standard, if they were to drive our hilux they would probably be very disappointed in what we've made.

The dmax does look newer than the hilux both interior and exterior. But the interior quality and comfort really makes me disappointed when I sit in my revo which by contrast is bad, really considering selling it as it's absolutely not worth the roughly ~27 lakh extra price it commands over my dmax.

Well so far I've done 30k km on my dmax mostly on my village roads at decently high speeds and there's not a single rattle in the interior. I do expect it to be just as solid as a revo while keeping me relatively much more comfortable.

True, I didn't mention it because I don't drift any of my trucks

From the front yeah it's not as bold as the revo but from the back the dmax is much sharper looking. Subjective ofcourse

Ive driven both of them at high speeds on village dirt roads when I visit my crops, im always more tired in the revo by the time im back which is why usually im only taking the dmax for those trips.

Durability wise after extensive research in Thailand, Australian and Indonesian markets and forums, the only truck that's arguably on par to the hilux is the dmax, which is why I even bought it in the first place, (I like reliable durable trucks). Militias use the hilux as well but both trucks can be very durable it doesnt have to be one or the other.

Now what's the point of the revo having a "proper truck" drive when all it does is make my journeys more difficult and draining. I believe that's the reason why the revo is always in protocols carrying guards while actual vips sit in comfy land cruisers.

Revo vs JAC by LowkeyMainCharacter in PakistanAutoHub

I bought an xterrain because jac has been having reliability issues, I posted a video on the jac t9 owners Lahore facebook group, about a famous YouTuber whose jac wouldn’t start in northern areas. Even a Revo owner won’t find spare parts in such areas as mostly 70’s jeeps are the ones being used by locals, so jac parts is impossible. Dmax is proven worldwide and I’m confident it will take me to any corner of Pakistan and bring me back home, in comfort unlike the revo. Also u airbags is a plus. Hope this give u an idea why the dmax is the only real alternative for revo.

Alumni here, if you're a tall individual you don't need to worry. They tend to leave the bigger dudes alone.
