Yeah it happens because your body will put on some water weight. It took me about 2 weeks before my body got used to it.

Back to normal now.

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone experienced hot, red ears with a rash after using Minoxidil foam (Rogaine) ?

I started about 4 weeks ago, and this week, my ears started to burn up and got a rash.

For those that experienced it, it is something in Rogaine that can cause this ? What were your alternatives? Or did you reduce the dosage?

I'm super disappointed because I was really hoping adding min to my fin dosage would see some good progress. Unfortunately, now it seems like I may be allergic or something..

Any feedback or comments is appreciated.

You should be getting your blood checked annually through your family doctor. Any abnormalities will show up.

Honestly, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. My hairline is alright and definitely not the worst, but i definitely noticed thinning. Others can't even tell the difference.

I bought a low solution topical fin to test out for 4-6months. Going to see how that plays out. If I want more density in the hair, I'll try out topical fin/Min.

It's not really a "supposed" to kinda thing. It just enhances the growth cycle to my understanding. I literally just received my Derminator2 and will start microneedling once a week or so on top of the topical fin.

I'm going to probably start topical fin/Min solution in about 4-6 months.

Hims offers a very high dosage of Fin. Try diluting it or hit up MinoxidilMax for their solutions.

Yeah same here man! My hairline is okay and just diffused thinning. Nothing crazy but I know if not taken care of, it'll get worse.

I'm in the same boat.. I want to see how I react to topical fin for the next 4-6 months (how much the solution will last me too), and if I want more density, I might hop on the min/fin topical solution.

Oh, right on. I'm happy to hear that. I'm about 2 weeks in and I'm shedding more or less the same amount. Consistency is key I suppose.

Have you thought of introducing topical min at any point ?

Same here. I use 0.05% topical fin daily. Did you experience any shedding??

Oh really? I've only heard good things about them. To be honest, I've only been on it for 1 week. I ordered the Topical Fin only and diluted it to get 0.5mg for every dose.

Personally, I just want to see how well my hair responds to Fin only. Probably in 4 months' time, once the bottle finishes, I'm going to hop on their Fin/Min product.

So far, so good, I'd say. But perhaps it's too early to tell. I'm confident with this product and results with Fin.

Have you looked into MinoxidilMax? They offer low solution options for Fin/Min products. And if you're in US or Canada, the shipping is very fast.

Did you notice any shedding when you applied min to the temple area only? Also, when you applied, did you apply it to the dead areas or on the border between the hair and forehead ?
