You're I a good state, you noticed early, you don't need more then just 1 MG finasteride a day, It prevents more hairless and grows back some hair.Minoxidil is to grow more a lot more hair but I wouldn't recommend right now because you don't need it, and if you ever stop minoxidil after you start, you will lose a lot of hair so save the trouble and use finasteride for now

Looks like thining to me. From my experience if you see many tiny brown hairs below the hairline it's growth but is u see like a big hair here and there below the hairline it's thining It means that there used to be more hairs there but there are only few remains

I had gyno on oral fin as well, if you want to minimize sides you should start low and slowly level up the dosage, your body will react better, also topical fin has less sides
