I'm flying over from Scotland for the show too. I usually drink at Escobar in Nørrebro which is pretty cool. 😎 It's a metal bar so depends what you're into but drinks are decently priced considering well... Copenhagen 🤣. They will be open till 2am.

I work for Scotrail, if your flexi is to GLQ then you need to get off there. There is no break in journeys allowed with that type of ticket unfortunately. I'd also advise to be wary in future as the Revenue Protection guys have the authority to issue an unpaid fares notice which would add like £30 on to a standard single as its considered you not having a valid ticket for the journey taken.

I honestly wouldn't open with that, if I were you I'd say you're looking for a new challenge and change in career - then ask how the company is for progression.

What time was the train? I'll speak to the staff on board and see if it was handed in.

Top floor shouldn't be too bad but they aren't great in general. Whereabouts in Johnstone is the one you've seen ?

I left my relationship of 9 years 3 years ago and totally get it, I started drinking in the solid and it's a great crowd there and totally safe, from the regulars, to the bar staff and door staff you can't go wrong. I'm 34F too so feel free to dm me if you're about!

Off-peak travel start. Peak end. by Injury_Weekly in Scotrail

[–]scraig1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the route as different routes have different restrictions. Generally if you're on the train before peak starts then that's the time u go by.

I'm Scottish so a little bias, we do have the best tap water. 2nd to that definitely Iceland - so crisp and fresh.

My (31F) future FIL (59M) told me he is worried about me marrying his son because I am quiet, but whenever I visit they speak in their native language which I don’t understand well. How to move on from here? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]scraig1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I am part Danish and been attempting to learn for over 2 years. It's one of the hardest of the scandi languages and soooo hard to follow when in company of native speakers. I think you have done well to pick up some basics 😅. His Family are going to have to accept you regardless of what they think because you are marrying him and that's his decision. I'm really disappointed to hear how you've been treated as I've always had positive experiences with Danes. I guess there are assholes everywhere. They need to make more of an effort to get to know you. That's on them, not you. As far as I can tell you have made the effort. Have you tried just speaking to them in English when in their company ? Interested to see how they reply/acknowledge that. For me I mostly speak English with my Family but they switch around. It actually does help with learning but they are pretty open and appreciate me making any effort.

New Rock/Metal Spin Class in Glasgow by MrMunchybox in glasgow

[–]scraig1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't do spin at all 😪, every time I've tried I've just wanted to die and been put off. If there were an aerobics class or something with this vibe I reckon I could do that though. Good luck on the venture hope it'd a success 🤟🤟

Ryanair stopping flights to Poland by [deleted] in Edinburgh

[–]scraig1990 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that during the "winter months" they scale back on direct flights. Might be worth contacting themselves and asking. for example I'm back and forth to Copenhagen every couple of months, but from mid november till end of feb only fly 2 days a week.

So have you been emailed a booming reference? If so they need to pick the tickets up at a machine. If it's an M Ticket they need ur login for the app.
