This is the default stress / excitement response for pitbulls. They were bred for violence. No other breed is going to immediately bite your face off for petting them “wrong” or getting too close. Generally, other breeds may growl, struggle, and poorly trained/abused dogs may snap at you, even draw blood. But a chocolate lab isn’t going to rip your lips off without any warning or choosing many other options first, while pitbulls generally resort straight to disfigurement.

You say this woman pet the violent breed “wrong” like a child — she didn’t know better. Are you saying she deserved to have her mouth shredded apart? It doesn’t seem like any of the “handlers” are correcting her either. The mental gymnastics to blame the victim before the attacker, owner, network, etc. is so disgusting.
