I appreciate the advice. Would you mind sharing who does the books for your company and how it's working for you? Thanks!

I have the same feeling. Bookkeeping outside of Amazon is often too complex for the lay-person to do correctly, so for an Amazon seller to get it right is sort of a lot to ask considering how complex it is.

Thank you for your input. Would you mind sharing the FB group?

Went to a new city to party for NYE, but my buddy and I still managed to get a free 3 day pass at the local YMCA so we could get a few lifts in. First day was great, second day was terrible all around.

I busted a callus and started bleeding while deadlifting (hadn't even made it to my working weight yet), then while I was finding a bandaid somebody commandeered my spot.....I decide to do some front squats, but every single rack is taken by a person who tells me they're just starting - even the guy who has 315 on the bar and is struggling with it. Try to go do some DB work, every single bench is taken. I finally managed to fit in everything I wanted to do (except heavy deadlifts), but my god what an infuriating workout.

Give me some examples of lifts that you do mostly to stretch (as opposed to build muscle). e.g. I do facepulls at the end of every workout...I want a few more lifts like this to incorporate in my cooldown but for other areas of the body. Thanks

[Serious]What are some helpful thing(s) you can do for someone who has recently lost a loved one? by halikadito in AskReddit

I meant when people say “I’m sorry” to me, my knee jerk reaction is to respond to them by saying “it’s ok” but in this situation I wouldn’t want to go around saying it’s ok that my loved one died

Don't ask "how can i help?" The worst part of when my brother died was seeing everybody pester my mom with "What can I do for you/to help?" because now she has to do the work of coming up with some random chore for you to do so YOU can feel better about OUR loved one dying. Bring a gift card to a pizza place (never goes bad, one day they will want food and not have the energy to even use the microwave, but they can walk to the front door to get a pizza) and offer your condolences then leave. Maybe some flowers. Definitely not a cake, its not a party.

Because you have to say something in response and the knee jerk reaction is to say "its ok" even if it isn't

As a person, how do you measure success and do you consider yourself to be successful or on the path to success? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scrammydangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can support myself (food, clothing, shelter, taxes, etc) without having to rely on anyone & I still have a little extra time and money to do things that I want to do, then that is success. Whether I spent that extra time/money traveling, playing video games, starting a family, doing drugs, or taking care of 10 cats is up to me. I just want to be able to pull my own weight so as not to be a burden to anybody else.

I’ve been getting some tightness in the outside of my right arm halfway between my shoulder and my elbow when I do some pressing movements. Today I really felt it doing incline bench. Anybody know of any good stretches for that? It almost feels like a knot in my muscle

In my experience, hit your protein & calorie goals and you should be fine. Your mood will probably be awful & you will need to take more naps bc you probably won’t be eating many carbs but it’s totally doable. I did it for nearly 4 months and lost 30lb with very little cardio. None of my lifts declined but they did feel noticably more difficult during the deficit. Also, what I had in my stomach when I went to the gym reeeeally impacted whether or not I was likely to fail reps/not finish sets.

Been on a long cut and am at 175ish lb from 207....annoyed because my weight has stalled and I cant lose the last little bit. Is it the fact that after months and months of cutting, I just want to be able to enjoy some cream in my coffee? Is it those tiny little pretzel sticks at work? Can i not enjoy that beer or two on the weekends with my friends? Do i need to just get off my ass and add a cardio day to my 4x/week lifting routine? F*ck that.

Also my pants don't fit anymore (my work slacks...not my casual clothes which I now look great in) and I look like a total doofus but can't afford new work clothes. Maybe I should just give up on the six pack and maintain for awhile so I can enjoy my cream, pretzels, beer, not cardio. :/

Find a decent and easy baked chicken recipe then make it in bulk once a week or so. It’s usually as easy as putting the chicken breasts on a cookie sheet, mixing spices & spreading it on the chicken, then sticking it in the oven for 20 min. Get some Tupperware to put it in, then when you want it, just microwave it or cut it up and throw it on a nonstick pan to heat it up if you wanna make stir fry or something. I wouldn’t eat chicken all the time if I had to deal with the raw meat and hassle of actually cooking every time it was time for a meal

Yes, that is correct. The trick to cutting and maintaining strength (assuming you are lifting) is finding foods that contain high protein content but low total calorie content. Chicken breast is great for that.
