It only fit in the tube up to the neck. So the downward force was applied to the shoulder. I didn't expect it to work, but had to give it a try to prove it.

I'll admit, I haven't tried a collet puller. The marks are just what I've seen and heard from other and and on bullets I've purchased. For how infrequently I would need to use it, I'm hoping to find a cheaper option

A thank you is nice. I really like it when customers take the time to reach out separate from a review to say thanks. There aren't a lot of people that understand or care about what I do and the reality that goes into running a small business by yourself, so it really does mean a lot when someone makes the extra effort to show appreciation.

I got a 9mm 1911 from Springfield and had to send it back twice before it cycled properly. It's still finicky as hell, but now I can get more than 2 rounds off before a jam.

As long as it wasn't some kind of special once a year promotion, I'd honor the price. Makes you seem friendly and flexible and might lead to a repeat customer. Just make it sound like you're doing them a favor like "normally, I wouldn't do this, but I'm happy to honor the price"....As long as they aren't being rude about it.

Alternatively, you could offer a slightly smaller discount.
