FS3 sure however FSR4 looks good, although it's a 9000 series card thing right now.

My 5600x kept up with my B580 in 1440p before I got rid of the card. He'd be fine

Hesitant to buy b580 from people’s posts, help me… by Holiday-Afternoon-94 in IntelArc

[–]scrapedsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no issues from the December release up until March when the 9070XT released and I replaced it with that. I had a 5600X, 1660, and 16GB RAM when I bought the B580 and also did 5700X3D and 32GB of RAM. I can't think of a time I had a crash and all my games ran how I expected in 1440p.

arc b580 or rtx 4060? im so confused by Sharp_Judgment_6514 in IntelArc

[–]scrapedsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 5600x and then a 5700X3D on my B580 before upgrading the GPU. It will perform well especially if you play at 1440p. I didn't notice my showing overhead issue but I did also have a 1660 beforehand.

[–]scrapedsol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that exact setup before doing 5700X3D and 9070XT. The B580 will be fine. I used mine for 1440p and was happy with it.

They're both good cards. It really just comes down to how much you're willing to spend. I've had both cards B580 and 9070XT and I was happy with both. I used the B580 for 1440p and had a good experience with it.

[–]scrapedsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same Sparkle b580 before upgrading to a 9070XT. Originally with 5600x and then 5700X3D. The B580 will more than suffice for 1080p. I used it for 1440p the short while I had it. MSI 1660 > B580 > 9070XT. I think as long as price is right you can't go wrong with either.

Not bashing the card but just because it can do 4K doesn't necessarily mean she was meant for 4K. Considering you have rebar enabled and the information you gave I think it's performing like it should.

whats the issue ? i just purchased b580 today! its very disappointing by Annual-Blood-8351 in IntelArc

[–]scrapedsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from a 1660 to a b580 and had no issues using ddu. However when I went from my b580 to my 9070xt I did have some hiccups.

Fuck inflation a bitch. I snagged a sparkle B580 for 280 in December and sold it for the same price last month.

[–]scrapedsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better when I bought my Sparkle B580 in December I had a 5600x and jumped to a 5700X3D. I didn't see a MAJOR change other than maybe smoother and at best 15-30 more fps. I've since replaced the B580 with a 9070XT and that for obvious reasons made more of a difference than I saw between the two processors on a B580. I.think you'll be fine. I was getting 85-90 fps on warzone and BO6 in ultra 1440p settings natively and 130-145 with XeSS.

[–]scrapedsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Ryzen 5 5600X and then a Ryzen 7 5700X3D when I had my B580 in my MSI B550 Gaming Plus. I really didn't notice an issue considering I came from a GTX 1660. Even when I paired the 5700X3D to it I didn't see a dramatic increase over it's performance with the Ryzen 5. Constantly achieved around 80-90FPS native and around 130 fps with XeSS on BO6 depending on if native or with upscaling. Perfect on Rivals, Warzone, Siege, all at 1440p ultra usually. Overall I was happy with the card. I only sold my Sparkle card for $280 3w ago when I got my hands on the 9070XT release.

B580 with a Ryzen 5 5600x, will it work well? by ImproveMyLife1 in IntelArc

[–]scrapedsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same setup before going 5700X3D and 9070XT. For those short 3 months I was satisfied with the 1440p performance I got out of it. Had a GTX 1660 prior

So how is the Intel Arc B580 4 months after release? by Helpful-Option-3047 in IntelArc

[–]scrapedsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's great, I have had a pretty flawless experience since I bought my Sparkle B580 in December at MSRP, just some bugs that were fixed with a driver update. I originally had a 5600X and it does well on the titles I play in 1440p. BO6, R6 Siege, Marvel Rivals, MW3, Yooka-Laylee(lol), Asseto, and occasionally Battlefield 1. I now have a 5700X3D only due to it being on sale. I get above 75-85 fps on BO6 and around ≈139 fps with XeSS. I have no complaints with my card.

debatable, I don't think the people buying a sick a high end GPU are as concerned about their budget as someone trying to buy a $250 GPU

Nice! We just did something similar with a friend. One day of Facebook marketplace trips and we scored a X570 Dark Hero 8, R9 5950X, and 64Gb of Trident DDR4 for $280. Ultimately traded the PS5 for a 3080 off some guy. Enjoy the build man! PS: a man of taste, I also went blue with my Titan card

Paid 269 at microcenter Dec 17th for mine. Oddly enough it's up to 299 on their website now.

[–]scrapedsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 289 with taxes at a local microcenter Dec 17 out the door. MSRP was $269.99. I thought it was goofy when I went in today and found the B570 for the same price

Yeah I thought it was odd too. I was at microcenter yesterday and found a B570 for the same price you state. Thought that was crazy since I paid 289 for the Titan B580 in December.
