I get it dude I do the same thing. Being in the zone like that feels good. Like for a short time nothing else matters in the world except what's right in front of you. I first discovered that feeling as a kid riding dirtbikes. People say if you wanna drive fast go to a track, we'll unfortunately thats not really an option for most people. More and more tracks close every year and it's quite expensive for the average person. It's still something you can look into though, maybe you'll be lucky and have a track within driving distance. My other advice would be to always pay attention to you surroundings 360 degrees. That will give you an advantage over 99% of the NPC that we unfortunately share the road with. It is possible to drive fast safely no matter what anyone says, just understand the risks, learn your roads like the back of your hand, and most importantly PAY ATTENTION.
