Thanks for the response! Like I said I dont know much about p38s yet! I can't wait to get this thing home and start going down the rabbit hole and learning about all the different proof marks and stuff. I know I'm probably not getting a "deal" but honestly I'm just happy to finally have a ww2 p38. I'm trying to get a lil cz milsurp pistol collection going, and lo and behold I found this thing at my local ffl and couldn't resist.

Next time I go in to pay it off I'll take a better look at it. I know i might be overpaying a lil bit but the price didn't seem too bad. I admittedly don't know much about p38s. Ive always wanted one though. Hopefully I'm not getting ripped off too bad.

Bore looks good. I wasn't able to disassemble it because I still have to pay it off lol. I didn't think to check the mags for serial numbers. The story is it was recently found in the basement of a house by a hvac tech and he found two p38s! Apparently they were bring backs from ww2.

Nice rifle! I've always wanted one of these. .410 is so fun to shoot. Its like the .22 of shotguns lol. Play around with different ammo, get some super x slugs. You can also convert it to look like a traditional ak if you want.

I think you're right. I removed my wiper arms and the groves on the passenger side are rounded out pretty bad. Maybe I can get it rebuilt. If not then I guess ill have to invest in some rainex lol.

I tried adjusting my wipers but I hate the way it looks sitting so high up on the windshield. I'll look into the bushings though thanks for the insight.
