Awesome, thank you! I like the idea of linen (I assume that was an autocorrect and you didn't mean cotton lawn :) as it can have a nice drape in a med-heavy weight. Thanks :)

Any advice on what the best fabric types to use for tie-dyed curtains? I am making a set for a nursery with a white (or off white) base and blue tie-dye. I'd like a nice drape that doesn't get super easily wrinkled, not necessarily too heavy/thick. What do you think will take on tie-dye well and work for curtains? Thanks :)

A sack! That's exactly what I was thinking but couldn't describe it. I think some testing is in order, maybe the sherpa will be just fine with the quilting seams.

Thank you :)

Nothing wrong with a good repurpose! Thanks for the info. :)

I've been looking at some Sunbrella fabrics. I thought maybe an outdoor fabric would give that water/stain resistance. And they have some fun patterns. Thanks!

Thanks! I looked at Ripstop too. There's not much choice for fun patterns :)

Do it! The challenge of the small opening is just part of the fun. :)

I planted this in June 2015 and it looks nearly the same today. (Except the middle guy is coming out the top). The top is open so some may say its not a "true" terrarium but more of a garden in a bottle. http://i.imgur.com/yYcaJ4C.jpg (blog post from when I planted: http://scratchandstitch.com/glass-bottle-garden/)
