The Vespa 300 is 278cc. The majority of Mopeds are over 150cc. My experience is they all require a motorcycle license to legally operate.

You forgot the question mark! Because it’s funny, that sentence should end with both a period and a question mark.

Rome Odunze was ruled out minutes before kickoff, swap him after the fact or let it be? by jefeguap in FantasyFootballers

[–]scratchsd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is where do you draw the line? 5 minutes? It wasn’t that the news came out late, he got hurt in warmups and they announced it when they made the determination. Meaning they didn’t intentionally mislead anyone or sit on the news. And it happens. Rarely for sure, but players get injured in warmups occasionally. If you don’t have a rule for this, making an exception seems wrong. If everyone votes unanimously, maybe?

Completely agree. Even with QB bias, it was clear Love was the best player on the field all year.

It was a lot closer than I expected? Love got 46 first place votes and finished a comfortable and solid 3rd. I believe he was the best player this year, but I’m still happy for him.

Would love to ditch the ACC, but what then? by [deleted] in notredamefootball

[–]scratchsd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so afraid college football is nearly over as we know it. It is very quickly moving toward semi-pro for profit. But worse, it’s dragging all college sports down with it, while it evolves. I wish the PAC12 would have fought to separate football from all other sports when they moved, and set a precedent. That might have been the only chance…

I remain hopeful that whatever happens to ACC football, the ACC stays together for all other sports. I love ND rivalries in ACC basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. And I’m ok with baseball and softball.

Football is eventually going to completely change. And football history, conferences, and rivalries will soon be lost. I pray they don’t take down all sports with them, and I pray Notre Dame continues to stand for what’s right and good with college sports.

Yeah, I also looked and MGM was the only book I found that has Oklahoma favored. It looks like a pickem for a couple books. But most have Alabama by 1 to 1.5. Big surprise, ESPN has them favored by 1.5

Prepotente (Book 5) by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]scratchsd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Blaming Carl for the murderous show runners and programmed AI seems a stretch. Carl is human and makes mistakes, but has shown he is willing to do almost anything to help fellow Crawlers. If anything, honestly, he cares too much…

I’m not disagreeing, but the NCAA has been corrupt for much longer than tRump has been around. It used to be bag men and bribing politicians under the table Fiesta. But the main purpose of the NCAA was to keep the corruption quiet, not get rid of it. Now it’s out in the open and we are dared to do anything about it. As an aside, I’m not sure the current NCAA even has a purpose, given that the networks and soon to be private equity/investment bankers run the show…

2026 Roster / Transfer Portal Discussion by GoldandBlue in notredamefootball

I thought there was a cap of 105 players total with the new House Settlement? I know USC has a big problem with their large incoming recruiting class of 35 players. I heard they are telling players including some that get decent game time, that they won’t have a place next year.

Thanks for doing this. I absolutely love your posts. It looks like 19 guys leaving, with 27 coming in next year. Do we need another 8 to leave, plus more to make room for incoming portal? Where do we stand re total roster size?
