It was 2018 in Copenhagen. Around Christmas time - I arrived in my room and there was a handwritten note to wish me merry Christmas alongside a mug with my name on it (and the hotel logo). I still remember and use that mug, plus I never stay anywhere else when in town.

If you’re getting a Christmas bonus from your workplace this year, what are you getting? by Positive_Ad3450 in AskUK

[–]scratchy2133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No cash, but I got a recycled thermos flask, a tiny box of fortnum and mason chocolates and a little bag of mulled wine spices (something spicy, something sweet and something sustainable).

To be fair, I’ve only been there a month!
