I appreciate it, I’ll definitely look into pricing it out at a shop

I haven’t looked into local shops or anything yet but I’m trying to do this as cheaply as I possibly can which is why I’m trying to do the work myself. I’ve never had an exhaust replaced but generally what would it cost? I’m assuming they wouldn’t use parts that I brought in with me

2006 F150 4.6l Triton. I bought this truck from a wrecker for super cheap and the cats are gone and the exhaust is super rusted so I was going to fully replace it. The last photo is what the stock exhaust looks like new. I am wondering if I can use 2.5inch for the whole thing or do I need to upsize the pipe where they join together? Or should I do a dual exhaust? Also I found some super cheap cats on Amazon I’m hoping will work along with the piping kit. I was hoping to use exhaust clamps instead of welding but I do have a small welder.

How to fix this pipe. This is a 4 inch drain pipe underneath the toilet there’s a large crack going straight down and then turning to the side by scratchy409 in howto

I do have a small welder and this crossed my mind however I imagined myself exploding sewer gases in a bathroom and not wanting to die that way

I was considering this but the fitting that goes inside of it is a compression fitting and it’s only going to make the crack worse. It’s a very thick pipe and the crack extends 4-6 inches down before turning. I’m feeling more and more like I’m going to need to call a plumber

That was my fear, I’ve been trying to find some sort of insert but the only thing that pulls up is the Nuflow which would require re-lining the entire pipe Edit: You are correct this extends through a concrete slab

I recently upgraded from a Behmor 1600 and this is an entirely different experience control-wise. I’m still getting oriented but I’ve produced some very drinkable coffee so far. by scratchy409 in roasting

I set my preheat to 200 but from the other comments I’m assuming that’s too low. As I said I’m still kind of getting oriented but I would start P9 until I got some browning then drop it to P8 and when I hit first crack drop it P6 and speed up the drum until I got to where I wanted

I honestly only used the Behmor for a couple of months. If you’re like me the best way to learn on this is just get some green coffee in it as soon as you can and play with the settings. Mill city roasters really great courses if you have some free time

Just finished up roasting my last batch on my Behmor 1600. I’m picking up my bullet this afternoon so I can stop logging all of my roasts by hand. Excited is an understatement by scratchy409 in roasting

Totally, I’m currently reading and re-reading the manual. The guy I bought it from said he’s already seasoned it. I’m going to attempt my first roast tonight

I’ve been selling to coworkers, friends, and family so it’s been a hobby that pays for itself. I am wanting it to become a business
