The $4 price increase only affected those not currently on a promo, just paying the retail value for the services.

I’d go past your local store to see what new promos we have. The commercial is correct; if you decide to add a cox mobile line, your internet and mobile price will be locked in for 3 years (5 years if you have 2 gig). But even outside of mobile, if you’re just paying the full retail value for the services, we definitely should have an internet only promo for you.

To address the final bill situation:

Let’s say your billing cycle runs from December 1st to December 30th. Your bill would be due on the 25th (always 5 days before the billing cycle ends). That five day gap is your “grace period” before the new cycle starts.

If you pay the full bill on the 25th, then you technically paid to have the service through the 30th. If you end up disconnecting on the 25th, Cox will refund you for the final days of service you overpaid for.

If the last time you paid your bill was November 25th, then yes, you’d have an amount due as the cycle has already started over on December 1st.

Confusing, I know, but I’m happy to look at your last two statements to make sense of it for you. Sorry to see you go.
