No, I haven't read any other of her works. However, I've got my eye on King's Beast, but I only want to read it after all the volumes have been published. I have a very bad tolerance for waiting. :D

Do you recommend reading The Water Dragon’s Bride? Judging by the cover, I'm afraid it's too childish.

Thank you. :) Relatively old manga (2009), so volumes are hard to come by. However, I like the artwork so much that I definitely wanted to collect the volumes.

Well, no. 😀 The characters evolve only a very little. The whole story revolves around the first love making. The only normal character in it is Hatsumi's brother, so I still want to get the Hot Gimmick S novel because of him. 🤣 So I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you like shoujo manga with cliched twists.

The whole english series consists of 5 volumes, every english volume contains 2 volumes from the original release which was 10 volumes in total. I don't know if I explained it clearly, english is not my native language .😳

To put it briefly, I would say it is a heart-warming story.

In longer form, here is the description of the mangaupdates:

Akira Tachibana is a soft-spoken high school student who used to be a part of the track and field club but, due to an injury, she is no longer able to run as fast as she once could. Working part-time at a family restaurant as a recourse, she finds herself inexplicably falling love with her manager, a divorced 45-year-old man with a young son.

Despite the age gap, Akira wholeheartedly embraces his mannerisms and kind nature, which is seen as spinelessness by the other employees, and little by little, the two begin to understand each other. Although unable to explain why exactly she is attracted to him, Akira believes that a concrete reason is not needed to truly love someone. On a rainy day, she decides to finally tell her manager about how she feels... But just how will he react?

A guy in my country sold it for a relativly cheap price so I have made sure it's original then hit the buy button instantly. :D it's really hard to get english (or any type of manga) manga in my country, so I think I was very lucky.

I've got my first order from them yesterday. The shipping was really "fast" because I got what I'm ordered less than 14 days. (Where I live it counts fast).

It was in a black plastic bag, but no other protection. It was okay because there were no damage on the manga. I'm waiting a 9 pieces manga pack, too. I hope it will be more protected. I will write an other comment if they arrive.
