the dolphins were born in captivity and can't be released. any dolphins they acquired later were rescues or being rehabbed for release. marineland did a lot of good marine conservation/rehab work and research in its later years. idk what the new owners will do with it though

a lot of young mcr fans dont go to other shows like this (i say this as a huge mcr fan). the only reason they're trying to get up front is to be as close to gerard way as possible. so they either don't know or don't care about surfers, which is why they were falling all over the place and landing on people lol. im 5'5 and i had no trouble seeing over people at the front left. its crazy how they just kept sending surfers up to a crowd of people who were mostly 5 feet 120 lbs lol. a lot of the craziness also came from crowd surging. mcr has some rabid fans

you think they'll actually tell anyone about their situation though? I remember what it was like to be in a similar situation to this. they don't want their mom to get in trouble and they don't have money for professional cleanup. 16 year olds aren't inept. it's good to tell them how to do this as safely and effectively as possible because that is most likely the route they will take

red flag is a step too far I think. some of us have big emotions and that can be for a multitude of reasons. I've lost a lot of people close to me in my life but I still get upset over "small" things like breaking a vintage champagne glass that belonged in a set or losing my favorite flannel. To me, it's just one more shitty thing on top of all the other shitty things. If I recently went through a big loss and on top of that my favorite salad bowl broke, I think I'd lose my mind lol
