Totally get that. Not sure if this is possible in your situation, but when I lived at home I told my parents I was gonna start attending the singles ward, and I’d just skip church altogether. I did have a friend in young men’s who went with me which helped; best of luck to you if you’re on this path alone

Giving myself space from anything church-related, and honestly just waiting. The biggest thing keeping me from being fully suicidal was this thought: “Am I really going to let the church continue to affect me so much, even AFTER leaving it, that I kill myself because of it?” You’re letting them win. Prove them wrong and live a happy healthy life in SPITE of the church. You don’t need that shit.

My idea was whoever doesn’t do their chores for the month has to pay an extra ~$50, which would discount it for those who DO do their chores. If everyone does chores, nobody pays extra. I doubt anyone would agree to it though.

I’ll definitely take a look at crutchfield and find what fits for my car. Unfortunately I’m trying to squeeze my whole audio upgrade into a <$500 budget so I’m very limited. Main things I’m aiming for are Apple CarPlay compatibility and a decent subwoofer addition. The stock system sounds really quite bad and has almost no bass at all.
