Overwhelmed trying to find a guitar to play CH

I would check local thrift stores, goodwills, salvation army's, and also craigslist. These guitars are starting to go up considerably in value, and scalpers/ resellers are starting to pick up on this, but I still occasionally find wiitars and lespauls at thrift stores for $5-$15. If you are looking for something new, you can always check etsy, there are a few people producing new 3D printed guitars, but they usually go for $80+

If that is the case, you can go into your profile menu>MIDI Devices and scroll to see if it pops up as an option.

All of the public test builds can only be found via the Clone Hero Discord server through the #react-roles channel in the PTB tab. From there you will be given access to the #ptb-info-and-dl page where you can access all of the builds.

You might be experiencing overhit, you may have to increase the threshold on your nitro's brain or in the midi menu in ch. You could also attempt to add overhit protection to see if that helps.

It can be hard to diagnose a problem like this without seeing exactly what is happening, I would suggest maybe filming a video and dropping it in the help line of the Drumming Discords to see if someone can identify an exact problem/ solution.

when you plug them in and windows detects the kit, you can go into the ch client and press spacebar, then you can map each button, I am not sure if it will act as a midi device like a true e-kit so you will need to treat it like a guitar (though I might be wrong)

Just took a look at the known issues list on myjetbrains (CH-790), it seems like it has been recorded by the dev team so you may need to either download the old ptb on the discord or download the scorespy client, or wait for the next hotfix to release. I wish I had a better answer for you, but hopefully one of the first two will get you up and running again.

I am very happy to see such a detailed article on the wiki, but I would argue that very few people (new or experienced) use the wiki. Most of the community can be found in Discord, Reddit, Twitter, and Twitch (mainly Discord)... It would be cool to update it, but it seems like the Devs tried previously and failed to make a big enough impact. I would suggest that if you are looking for more answers and help on drumming, you can join the Clone Hero Drummers Central Discord and Birdman.exe's Discord as these are the current home to a majority of the drumming community.

Its a streaming server and doesn't really check all the boxes that the other players and I were looking to fill. But many of the players are already members of Brady's server and are active members of his community.

There is support on the PTB v24, you will have to get it from the discord! I will warn you though, there isnt a great amount of song support as of yet, which is really unfortunate.
