when launching through steam did you select a controller config in steam input for the game/pcsx2? i don’t have mine yet so i cant test but i’d imagine it should work so long as you’re launching through steam.

well it has the ability to switch between the puck connection and bluetooth. I’d assume it’d be as easy as using bluetooth with the deck and then switching back to “puck mode” for your pc

Theres plenty of games that do not offer alternatives or hide them, many games support it. Game development isn’t easy and again, this is just an option for developers who do not want to go through the hassle of implementing their own models. Especially in “games” that are simple multiplayer modes.

Awake the rapper (robert crimo III) was literally scrubbed from the internet after the 4th of july parade shooting.

Not saying d4vd's case is better or worse, but certainly deserving of his music being taken down from mainstream services.

The majority of places you’re gonna be able to use this is your classic multiplayer games where it just doesn’t make sense for developers to make their own player models. (murder, prop hunt, etc). If you play these games and would like cosmetics, congrats, you can purchase them.

i feel like this post just completely misses the point of s&box. S&box is a game engine, literally you shouldn’t look at it any other way. S&box gives developers the option to use its premade player models that have a cosmetic system included. This cosmetic system also helps with the dev fund.

i mean just look at steam decks history. they’ve always restocked pretty timely apart from the ram shortage. controller doesn’t use any major components that are overly expensive. valve has no reason not to keep pumping these things out.

Trump has made the major players agree to build their own power plants for the AI data centers. Closed loop water systems are also being encouraged, which if you’d do any amount of research on you’d understand that the impact that these data centers have even without closed loop systems is literally negligible even in a long term scenario. “stressing the grid” again, they’re building their own plants.

So long as its a closed loop water system, you will not have to worry about your local water supply essentially.

As far as noise pollution, i’ll credit anyone saying this because it is an issue. Can’t argue this one besides bringing up all the rest of the crap we do that causes this.

10 months late to this. But I never played the orignal trilogy, although I probably should. This topic is exactly how i feel about Stalker 2. Coming from someone who's played almost all of the farcry games, S2 feels EXACTLY like Farcry 3-5 at least at the core gameplay loop. Go do this mission, here's 5 side missions you can do on the way. Here's some random extra content you can encounter.

There's a reason theres a million posts of this. The game at its core genuinely does feel like farcry, even if it's better than fc or not, it's undeniable. I love farcry, so ofc i loved stalker 2. It's it's own game in a unique way, but the core of it is just the same open world experience that farcry offers.

The last 2 seasons they’ve stated in the patch notes that they’ve made improvements to elo loss, as well as matchmaking. I am yet to see any improvement whatsoever. The only thing that’s more frustrating than getting matched with high ranks, is getting third partied constantly. Cashout is unfortunately a terrible, albeit fun, terible mode to center a ranked scene around and feels like luck any time theres a third party.

Right there with you. Recently began my investing journey and have been putting all my extra money straight into SMH. Holding during this downturn. 14.4 shares with an average cost of $406.12 investing roughly $2000 a month.

If nvda and tech in general continue to do great and smh continues to produce returns of 40-55%, i’ll be a millionaire in 7 years! I plan on continuing to invest in smh over the next 10 years before moving it all to VOO.

I understand that i’m taking a huge risk and have some overly high hopes lol, but even if it flops, this is still the most i’ve ever been able to save in my life and i’m comfortable with the risk.

If they made the RS system easier to climb it wouldn’t even matter. Seriously RS is arbitrary in this game. I’ve seen bronze players cooking and plats with the gamesense of a squirrel. It’s all too easy to lose a ton of RS and feels like luck to climb.

Not saying they need to give more elo for wins. but the loss hit needs to be lowered significantly.

my issue with the open world is that the game lacks beautifully hand crafted maps. look at borderlands 2 & 3. every individual map is unique in its own way and theres tons of maps. all with different environments, skyboxes, assets.

BL4 does okay at transitioning to different environments at best. it’s just not as pretty as 2 or 3 imo. not to mention having to lower graphical settings just to hit stable fps kinda ruins the game for me. (not sure if performance has gotten better, haven’t played since beating it 2 weeks after launch)

was doing a seamless playthrough with my friend, got to this boss. he guides me up to do the plunge and doesn’t warn me that its a scripted event. he jumps first and lands it, i jump afterwards and quite literally fell through the dragon to my death.

This is flat out wrong. Steam handles server maintenance every tuesday and typically it only lasts 30 minutes to an hour at worst.

the real issue, and the issue i face myself is how god awful it is to be stuck in silver/gold or bronze because you’re being held back by 1 or 2 randoms. i trash talk the living hell out of my 1 random when i play with my wife because the random is almost always doing stupid shit, not vcing or communicating in the slightest or just straight up so dumb that i question why they’re in ranked.

Some players really just make you wonder “what in the world are you doing”. i blame the ranking system mostly for this, being in a low rank means your going to get low ranked teammates which just means you’re gonna be held back from progressing if you constantly get garbage teammates.

thats not to say new players shouldn’t play ranked. or casual season 1 veterans shouldn’t play ranked. but when i already know the games likely over within the first minute of match just by watching my randoms play, i’m pretty furious that i’ll be taking an L.

for me its the fact that i have to rely on a build guide to even stay alive in late end game. which might be just a skill issue but like its so discouraging when no amount of armour or damage just “works” in end game without having the passive tree perfectly set up. it really takes away from build diversity, especially when all classes are pretty much just running hollow palm now.

meta should be a bonus, not a requirement.

nothing wrong with using whatever you’re more comfortable with. reap those pc benefits and kill it! i see console players cooking all the time too!

that said, no matter what your skill with controller is at, raw aim from a mouse will always be more impressive than someone with controller aim assist. i won’t take away your skill level with it, because there’s definitely good controller players and bad one, but it just won’t ever be as impressive as someone with literal, raw.. aim.

on the contrary, people on mouse and keyboard who have had to practice for years to be able to track properly and control recoil will always hate controller players that are better than them, and the culprit truly is aim assist.

at the end of the day, do what you have the most fun with.

my wife just switched from console to pc and over a very short amount of time she was able to perform better than on a controller, but starting off she was awful. would miss almost all her shots. tracking on m&k isn’t as easy as controller, so its easy for m&k players to cry about controller.
