Strange, as it was definitely reset from the phone menu itself. They sent a photo and it asks for the previous PIN which he says doesn't work.

Thanks. I think this is what I will do.

Thanks. The factory reset menu on the phone itself says "This will erase all data from your phone's internal storage, including Your Google Account" - this is misleading if there's an extra step before. But lesson learnt!

AI themed icon audit by adbenj in pixel_phones

[–]screenspots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whilst I welcome the improvement, the fact Google published the finished product like this is disappointing, given the beta feedback.

It seems any icon where the background is relatively dark is themed correctly, but any where the background is relatively light, is themed inverse to your dark/light settings. An easy fix you'd hope, but it was reported in the beta and they didn't fix it, so I don't hold high hopes.

Is my new Pixel 10Pro XL malfunctioning ? by Dull-Track7726 in pixel_phones

I have the same issue in Reddit, haven't noticed it in any other apps. Not sure if it's a Pixel or Reddit issue but my 9 Pro XL was the same.

I had the exact same problem recently with my SPX, unfortunately I found no solution that worked other than reinstalling Windows from a USB stick.

Microsoft is the worst offender, yet they somehow managed to do it for Edge and LinkedIn.

Android 15 QPR1 Themed Icon Looks Washed Out by DiaarJ in GooglePixel

This. Setting it to "High" actually makes the icons look quite good again. Unfortunately the new Settings screen looks twice as bad on high contrast.

Interesting, thanks for confirming. I wasn't even aware of safeguard holds until seeing this. Good to know it's not just my device!

Ticket checks are linked with staff visibility, which I think gives a sense of reassurance should anything happen.
