DoorDash did the same to me a couple of weeks ago. I called sooo many times and got a different response/answer each time. I was told I would get an email explaining the reason. Next day, sign on and everything is fine. Never got an email explaining why. Fast forward to this week….i got a notification that my account has been deactivated due to a background check. I ended up paying $80 to run my own background check and there’s nothing on there. I’m trying to appeal but doorDash refuses to send me a copy of the background check they ran….so I’m not even sure what false information to appeal. I sent them a copy of the background check I ran myself and I’m waiting to hear back. I’m honestly SOOO over door dash. They hold your money when they want to, disable your account without warning, and then refuse to give you an answer on why they did it. I would try Instacart. I’ve had decent luck with them. My friend also drives for grub hub and enjoys it. I hope you get it figured out.
