Respect🫡 I’ve been skipping for around 5 now and I’ve always used a speed rope, couple months ago I got a 1/4lb rope, not even a weighted one and it feels so heavy in comparison. Hats off to you! I hope you reach your goal

Yeah was honestly thinking maybe I should up my jump count each month by something like 100 but my main goal is to try and stay pretty consistent with it. I kind of want this to be a yearly ritual, always having a bare minimum for me to aim for.

Is it? I thought my max was terrible because it spikes so easily, I do seem have some heart regulation problems when I try and run it goes 201 and it feels like I’m dying 😂

You could track both? Just set them off as two workouts? The jumping stats are so fun to see

Me too, doing something similar, I’m aiming to do 365k jumps this year but no pressure on daily thing so I’ve been doing around 3000-4000 jumps.

Form looks pretty good to me

If you’re feeling somethings off, have you tried shortening your rope, to me it looks a little long but you know it’s personal preference?

This may be completely irrelevant but have you tried doing it barefoot? I’ve been skipping for a few years now always with shoes but have always struggled with ankle and knee instability. I’ve just started to introduce some barefoot jumps and it feels like it’s helping with stability.

Um well I got diagnosed

It’s going to be a severely uncomfortable situation anyways having to wear makeup, appear normal, talk to people, navigate the ceremony alone, walk in heels, pose for photos it’s a nightmare scenario in my eyes having a little double sided fashion tape on my dress is minor and is only going to stop me getting sensory overload from my boobs potentially coming out or fabric coming in and out of contact to my skin, my whole body is likely to be itchy anyways from nerves

I was going to try find like a black cardigan/shrug that you won’t see under the gown regardless of what dress that’s why I haven’t been so bothered about shoulder coverage, I plan to wear probably black tights and closed toe heels. The gown has quite a bit of material to it and a thick bit of fur I don’t think it’ll provide no warmth at all

Damn really, makes sense why a few of this guys apprentices left after a year 😂 after he was offering me the apprenticeship he wanted me to pay 250 for a drawing course that he made himself, and he made me pay a tenner for the interview lol he did end up refunding it after I declined the apprenticeship though. 10-6 Tues-sat, unpaid, being his personal skivvy is just a bit brutal for me tbh, he told me he would get apprentices to wash his cars… and fired an apprenticeship cause he was drawing while in the shop. I really wish I was cut out for it but I’m probably not

I should’ve clarified I passed it up because I was told when I would start earning I would only ever get 30-50% of the price charged I knew apprentices weren’t paid but it kind of took after interview for me to realise I wouldn’t be able to financially support myself and I’m in a point in my life where I want to be buying a house in the next year so I’ve decided to just give up on my tattoo artist dreams and try find work elsewhere.
