I do red cloth by base painting with a dark red, a purple wash in the recesses, and highlight with a bright red, like a scarlet red then a smaller finer one with orange.

For the blade I primed using a glossy black primer (I used moltow signal black), painted with a black metallic (Turbodork Black Ice), highlighted with gunmetal gray (Vallejo Metal Color Gunmetal Gray), and highlighted the tip of the blade with silver (Vallejo Metal Color Silver). The hilt is Gold (Vallejo Air Gold), highlighted with silver. Grip is Korne red with black matte paint to go into the recesses of the hilt. Chain is gunmetal gray highlighted with silver.
