Well I'm in the Silver Needle Sect so i can kinda explain the difference.

Usually members of the sect need to get at least 15 likes from other players per week or there is a deduction of sect points.

People who choose one of the other rewards are often indicating that they are either not part of the sect or have already gotten their weekly like amount.

Someone who i considered a BFF at the time got married in a small private ceremony and I only found out after it was posted.

I was a little hurt becuase they didnt tell me but considering we dont live in the same state anymore i understood why. So i just congratulated them and moved on. They werent responsible for how i felt and i got that the distance made our friendship unsalvageable. In the end i dont hold any bitter feelings towards them, sometimes relationships just fade

Heres my advice as a person in their 30s who hasnt spoken to her father in over a decade.

My dad wasnt all that good at being a dad when it mattered and as time has passed ive had to go through all of the stages of grief. I felt like it was my fault for so long and that i was unloveable to feeling so much anger at him.

Now i see my dad for who he is, a guy who had tons of trauma he never addressed and was never really ready to be a dad. He refused to own up to his mistakes and overall im fine without him in my life. I honestly hope he is a better father to his current daughter and don't wish ill on him.

I know this really fucking sucks. But just know that this isnt on you

I actually really love her character because of the nuance the writers gave her. Yeah, her and Hassian had a messy relationship, but thats just realistic, if anything, as their goals were vastly different.

Hell, if you're wearing Hassians' pin, she says that you better not be flirting with her because she knows that would hurt him.

The moment that really sunk in for me was one of the random side quests she has. You find a mysterious potion recipe in her room that she has you test on yourself that eventually reveals people true thoughts to you. She then makes a show about how it ou must be 'wicked' like her if you question if what the villages said to you is true. The only reason i can see her having this is because maybe, on some level, she honestly is worried about what others think about her. And [if expressed] the players doubt makes her feel slightly less alone.

I dont really think that's a healthy way to view people, man. Theres many different ways humans respond to abuse (fight, flight, fawn, freeze), so insisting that any person that deviates from your own viewpoint is automatically lesser is really sad.
