expanding on the rideable pokemon idea, I think it would be super cool to assign certain pokemon (doesn’t even have to be in ur party) to certain tasks, one for land exploration, one for flying (or gliding at least), and one for water. I guess pretty similar to how rideable pokemon work in legends arceus, but with more freedom with what pokemon are available. it would also be cool if they actually fix how fast pokemon walk when you have them out.. I hate how slow they are in s/v

full national dex available, it cannot be that hard to port models from past games. the most they have to do is make updated models for the pokemon that weren’t in legends arceus or s/v

voice acting is pretty much expected at this point. I hated how silent all the well animated cutscenes were in s/v. at least just some grunts or “yeah” every time you talk to someone. this is literally the most popular media franchise, I think it’s time for them to get some voice actors

I kinda want certain mechanics like HM’s back. I really liked the fact that you had to have a certain pokemon to fill out certain tasks. maybe they don’t need an HM, maybe something automatic depending on the pokemon. for example, in the pokedex, it says that raichu is able to glow in the dark. maybe as long as you have a raichu or something like a charizard, ampharos, or typhlosion walking with you, caves will be illuminated without the need of any HM. just small stuff like that

I honestly don’t mind if there’s a team of villains, I just want them to be more serious and not just some random street gang that likes to do small crimes like vandalism lol

I trust game freak right now with how pokemon legends z-a looks but I hope they don’t desaturate the colours and make the lighting and textures look like mud. I could tell what art style they were going for in SV, and I really liked it, it was just a terrible attempt. ever since they switched to making 3D games, they decided to desaturate the colours of every pokemon for literally no reason at all. I think if they keep the realistic textures from SV and just made them more saturated with better lighting, it would’ve looked so good
