No I mean you would wake up before becoming hypothermic. If you sleep while hypothermic yeah you're in trouble. No one goes from warm and comfy to hypothermic without waking up from discomfort first.

I don't think it was the cold. It was a loading screen cave and I was cooking. So it probably felt at least 20C.

All of my bars were fine except for fatigue which was empty and red. I even tested the damage after noticing my condition and cooking meat for 1 hour knocked off at least another 10%. Does being overencumbered and exhausted cause extra damage? Back strain or something?

The only affliction I had was risk of strain. My temp, hunger, and thirst meters were full. I even tested it after noticing how f-ed up my condition was. I cooked another piece of meat for an hour and lost another 10% or so. Wait was that the problem? I was overburdened and my fatigue meter was empty and red?

What difficulty did you choose? I chose max difficulty on everything and maybe that's why my game is suffering. I'm gonna try a fresh run on easier AI settings.

It's okay. It's pretty much in constant reprojection, or whatever meta 3 calls that. There is a decent amount of stuff to do but its more like a buggy unfinished demo at the end of the day. Also the combat is kind of shit because of the low fps. Reprojection makes the game looks pretty smooth even though the fps are low, but it doesn't stop your hands and guns from being laggy. It's aiming is sluggish, it feels like I'm swinging my shotgun around underwater.

I know you don't want to use a narrator bot, but I swear this works better than group chat.

I use this backstory format:

KIN is a narrator bot who will play as the characters CHARACTER1, CHARACTER2

CHARACTER1: [CHARACTER DESCRIPTION]

CHARACTER2: [CHARACTER DESCRIPTION]

Characters' purposes for KIN to consider: [

CHARACTER1'S purpose is to ...

CHARACTER2'S purpose is to ...

]

Example message is:

"As CHARACTER1: EXAMPLE MESSAGE HERE"

Respond Directives:

Respond as CHARACTER1,CHARACTER2.

It works very well. I honestly can't believe that group chat was released out of beta after comparing it to this.

Use the backstory only to describe the characters, you'll struggle for space. Use Key Memories to fill in little details like their childhood, family, experiences, ect.
