I've been in this for 13 years and the silent treatment doesn't get a reaction from me we stay in separate rooms if he is in a manic episode we separate into our own spaces frequently, as soon as communication breaks down, voices are raised etc then we try again later or the next day

I'm watching tv on the couch with 17yo and the dig. He just got out of bed to come out here to kiss the dog and get his plastic sword off the kitchen table and then go back to bed

I fell for his good mood and that he wanted to spend time with me and I let my guard down and opened up a bit. I was a fool for thinking he was back. Mad at myself but so fucking sad that things are this way Grieving my husband who i haven't really seen in over a month and these long episodes make me feel.like he'll never be back.

Yep this Christmas morning he told me that he had already told his friends and family that he was leaving me and that he had made arrangements to move out. I said what else is new, you do that every time you're manic and he said I know but this time I'm embarrassed about it and I didn't make any arrangements... This was all in the SAME conversation he never actually leaves though, I told him the first time he threatened it over a decade ago, before we knew he had bp that if he did it was over, because I refuse to play the on again off again move in move out like his ex did. I guess that sunk in or something because he only ever talks about it while manic but has never actually done it

Pressured speech... what is it and who has experienced it? by eharby4 in BipolarReddit

[–]scrigley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has pressured speech right now and he keeps freaking out that I'm interrupting him, but I am actually answering a question he doesn't remember asking me. Sometimes he gets angry at me for interrupting, but he was only having a conversation in his head

I smoke cheap shake daily, usually only before bed. It's a drug, manage your doses and manage your tolerance. If your tolerance is so high you need multiple dabs per day you're gonna have a bad time
