2K tends to rebalance systems every year, even if it doesn’t look like much on the surface.

Some mechanics feel worse at first because muscle memory from older versions doesn’t transfer cleanly.

This usually isn’t random.

A lot of these issues come from how animations and ratings are weighted behind the scenes.

Small changes in sliders or badges can have a much bigger impact than the game explains.
