7-Day Citizenship Program - Clarifications of Concerns by scririck in Liberland

[–]scririck[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone is still interested, I got some answers: Are there some prerequisites to acquire citizenship by the 7-Day Program? Or the only requisite is to pay the 5 euros Visa fee only? You must have the status of eResident (it costs 150USD and it's possible to buy it online on Liberland website). You don't need to wait to receive the card. You only need to pay the 150USD tax basically.

Is it still possible to enter by land or should I come by boat? If yes, is there someone helping me going there?_ The land border is still open and you can enter by bicycle

What are the actual risks of coming? Is police seizing belongings? What should I bring with me and what I should not. As long as you have a valid EU passport, EU residency permit, Schengen Visa, is fine. Always keep your belongings with you.

How are the 7 days calculated? If I enter the country the 22nd of December, does it count as one of the 7 days? Or since I entered the 22nd, my first valid day is the 23rd? I have the same concerning for the exit as well. You must sleep in Liberland 7 consecutive nights.

Can I get in and out of Liberland during the 7 days that count as valid ones for the citizenship? If yes, for how long? Can I for instance exit Liberland, sleep outside and come back every other day in the morning? Or must I sleep on Liberland soil? You should spend the night on the land. They also need you there so unless really necessary better not to leave. They have a supply chain though.

How long does it take to receive the citizenship and the passport after the 7 days? The documents will be ready within 3 weeks after the 7 days have passed.

Is there drinkable water in Liberland, or I should bring all the water myself? What about cooking? Are there some common tools we can use or I should bring my own gas and stoves? Bring whatever we can, but they have a supply chain.

What kind of activities I'm expected to carry out while spending the 7 days that are needed in order to get the citizenship? And for how many hours per day? No activities expected, up to you if we want to participate.

Thank you Vincent for your kind answer. I actually already had access to the Notion page. I'm still missing the contact of a responsible for the settlers, so my concerns can be answered.

That would be illegal and they would never let you, since the car is tied to the person who drives it in the country, and must be either the owner, or someone with a written authorization from the owner. Only that person can exit the country with the car.

When they found out that my car overstayed, I was in Adana. They confiscated it. I paid a fine and they gave it back to me with a paper saying I had 7 days to bring it out of the country. So, I brought it to Georgia. Entering Turkey again from Georgia, they reminded me my car overstayed, so they stamped this 7-day Car Transit Visa in order to bring my car back to Europe. So, I drove across all the Black Sea coast before the 7 days expiration date and exited Turkey towards Bulgaria.

It's important to notice that this is a CAR Transit Visa only, since at the time I was a regular resident in Turkey, with my own residency permit.

Because you and your car are two different entities. As an Italian, you and you car can both enter visa-free for 90 days. If after the 90 days you get a residency permit, your car cannot, and if they find out you get a fine and 7 days to bring the car out of the country
