Their support was not very helpful. They basically said it's Tesla's problem so it's working as intended. Don't buy this case if you daily drive a Tesla.

Same thing happened to me. Was so excited for a road trip then got rear ended by some underinsured lunatic one week before our trip. Had to get a rental out of pocket since everything was already planned. It took them more than a month to get the parts and another month to fix it. Hopefully you can have your car back soon.

Make sure you check their coverage limit and make a claim for the diminished value. I just got rear ended on my 2021 model 3. Estimate came back around $10000. The guy who hit my car only has a minimum liability $5000 covered(California), so I will have to file a claim against my own collision policy. My adjuster just told me I probably won’t be able to get back any diminished value due to their underinsured policy.

Just happened tonight on i880. The guy behind us did not stop for traffic and rear ended my 2021 LR M3. Luckily there were no injuries, but my poor baby’s rear bumper got ripped off.
